, founder and owner of Thorson
Restoration and Construction, LLC
is a 1991 graduate of Bridgewater State College
with a Bachelor of Science
Degree. Eric started Thorson Restoration
in that same year. He is an
accomplished builder and has spent the past
16 years developing his business
and his role in this community. Eric is a
Licensed Construction Supervisor
as well as a Licensed Home Improvement Contractor.
He is a key participant
in the agendas of The National Association
of Home Builders and The Builders
Association of Greater Boston. At Thorson
Restoration, Eric plays a vital
role in driving sales and continually developing
the overall direction of
the Company. It's not all business though.
He truly loves being active
with his two sons, whether it's coaching
them in baseball and soccer or
learning a new trick on their snowboards
together.
has
been our Lead Framer here at Thorson Restoration
for five years. Bob brings a lot to the table
with over twenty-five years
of professional experience in "high-end" residential
construction. Bob's
portfolio highlights many beautiful homes
on the Cape as well as throughout
Southeastern Massachusetts. As a licensed
Construction Supervisor with
certified OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety
Organization) Training, Bob
has certainly proven his ability to manage
our most technically challenging
projects. On a typical day Bob is onsite,
tools in hand, supervising the
framing phase of one of our Projects. He
plays an integral role in
maintaining good communications with our
clients. On a personal note, Bob
enjoys fishing and a basic love of the outdoors.
He also works out on the
ice in a local hockey league.
is a man who wears many
hats at Thorson Restoration. After
some academic classes in Architecture at
Wentworth Institute of Technology,
Allin went off to New York City to enjoy
his 20s. Upon returning to this
area Allin embarked on a career in Carpentry.
Five years ago, after an
apprenticeship with a local builder, Al started
at Thorson Restoration. As
previously mentioned, Allin has many roles.
He is a licensed Construction
Supervisor who manages many of our remodels
and additions. Allin also sees
through our kitchen and bath remodels. Recently,
Allin has fulfilled a
10-hour OSHA Certification. Most recently,
he has completed a 75-foot long
staircase, perched on an ocean bluff. Allin
is also a registered Maine
Whitewater Rafting guide. He is an avid hunter
and outdoorsman. He lives
in Middleborough with his girlfriend Lorraine
and dog Jagger.
, a 1995 graduate of the
University of Maryland with a B.A. in
History, has a background in Project/ Facilities
Management. Back in 2001. Todd seized an
opportunity to apprentice as a Carpenter
in San Francisco.
After three years honing his skills there
he left for a yearlong stay in
Baltimore. While in Maryland, Todd focused
on fine finish carpentry in
historic buildings, including a Vanderbilt
Mansion. In 2005 when Todd and
his wife relocated to New England, with its
rich history and dedication to
preservation, it seemed fitting that he would
pursue restoration work. At
Thorson Restoration and Construction Todd
plays a versatile role. He is
primarily responsible for finishing our projects.
That encompasses tasks
ranging from building a staircase, designing
a fireplace surround and
managing a kitchen installation. Now and
again he lends a hand framing one
of our homes or most recently, assisting
on Allin's beach staircase
installation. When not on the clock, he's
often busy restoring his own 1890
Victorian home in Plymouth. On occasion he
can be found snowboarding in Utah
or backpacking in Spain.
is not only Eric's partner
in life but in business as well.
Stacy is a graduate of Kinyon Campbell Business
School. She manages
Operations for Thorson Restoration, including
Accounts Payable, Receivable,
Payroll, Retirement Planning, Human Resources
and managing the day to day
affairs at our offices on Fireworks Circle.
When Stacy can escape from her
desk she really enjoys a good long run or
some quality time with her boys.
– Jenn’s business training began in 1999 while working for a dance studio in Swansea MA. The experience gained while working for a natural food store allows her to be very valuable in assisting at the Thorson Office with daily operations, marketing, and customer relations. Jen has also had opportunity to take part in various avenues of volunteer work in the states and abroad while managing her own decorative painting business. Her volunteer work included helping to construct several buildings across New England and traveling to South America for an educational work. Jenn now lives in Bridgewater with her husband Matt and two dogs Max & Lucy.
